<p>Taking the above two concepts (a) a limited supply and (b) and unlimited counting system, then the only way to keep the supply side burning is inflation, or charge more and more and more.</p>
<p>If one where to shout stop and take a reckoning, count everything and record the numbers and then press the start button and continue for a generation or two and shout stop again and do the numbers again what you will find that the stuff is basically still the same but the numbers have inflated dramatically.</p>
<p>What this means is that we are not in a recession, in reality there is no recession, there is merely re balancing of expectations on the side of those who for some reason believed the myth of fairness and equity in the system.</p>
<p>They used to say if you want justice don&#8217;t go to a court well if you want fairness don&#8217;t expect it from capitalism, or from the form of capitalism that is practiced by corporate types.</p>
<p>In reality we don&#8217;t have a democracy so it doesn&#8217;t really matter what system the media tells us we have.</p>

<p>A cursory look at the last few hundred years of history should tell you that all the ism&#8217;s are lying. There are the privileged and the non privileged, period &#8211; and make no mistake, the privileged are doing everything in their power to ensure that they stay privileged and that the status quo applies to the unprivileged, or that the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor.</p>
<p>All men are born equal but if your daddy is filthy rich you get to go to the best schools and mix with the best people and we still spurt the same old crap of land of opportunity and freedom.</p>
<p>If you are born to a single parent and forced by your state to grow up in a ghetto then believe me my friend you will find that your opportunities are limited.</p>
<p>Therefore all rhetoric is limiting and should come with a Government health warning!</p>
<p>It&#8217;s like speaking non reality into existence, America isn&#8217;t, never was and never will be the land of the free. Didn&#8217;t you know jails where invented to put people who think they are free.</p>
<p>You are free to do as you are allowed, but think for a moment, who made the rules, who set the limitations. In this land of one man one vote who decides what law should be law.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t believe that legislation is enacted by he who makes the largest campaign contribution then stop reading and go take your prozac.</p>

When a state of unbalance is reached in an economy where some of the people who form the economy cannot afford to live in the economy which they are part of then the economy is doomed.</p>
<p>There are two options, painful re-balancing or destruction.</p>
<p>It appears that we are going through a period of painful re-balancing of the expectations of the proletariat. Yes my friend more can really be less as in there has never been more but most of us must do with less!!</p>
<p>Examples of periods of destruction are pre WW2 Germany and Revolutionary France.</p>
<p>Lets print some money and get on with the business of making more from less! But remember this can only be allowed happen after the middle classes stop whining and take their medicine.</p>
<p>Know your betters and defer to them!</p>

<p>But, but but , I just watched the Republican debate from Iowa and man is it just me or what.</p>
<p>Anyone who reads this blog or who knows my bleeding liberal heart knows that I think Obama is a dud, waste of time, Bush 3 type of president, and after watching the Republican hopeful&#8217;s talk through their arses for an hour tonight my pessimism is at a low ebb.</p>
<p>Stunted, George Bush like (stupid), ham actors (not Clinton like), these are a few words that come to mind to describe the protagonists.</p>
<p>Perry talks like a recovering boxer/addict, he just can&#8217;t seem to find the word he is looking for, I think they call it early onset dementia, his forte is being a Christian and frying people of color, didn&#8217;t Jesus say something like love God and love Thy neighbor and turn the other cheek, nowhere in the new testament is there any reference to an eye for an eye!!!!!!!!!!</p>
<p>Gingrich is an old stupid fool, the Palestine people are imagined or made up or something.</p>
<p>Bachman, her hair said it all.</p>
<p>The Governor of Mass who is not from Mass is a Masshole! Whats his name Romney who hired illegals and now hates illegals, who invented the health mandate and now hates the health mandate, who pink slipped more Americans than God and now lies through his teeth and kisses any ass available that is not brown or illegal that will get him elected to the great office of President of these United States of America, man don&#8217;t get me started.</p>
<p>Rick Santorum, Rick who!!! wake me up when the eggs are fried and the coffee&#8217;s smelling like it&#8217;s 8 o clock.</p>
<p>The one thing that really struck me from this debate is that <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>if</strong></em></span> these people are telling the truth in relation to their convictions and their knowledge and understanding of the world and America, then we have little or no hope of coming out of our present swoon and regaining a respectable standing in the world order. In short if it is Obama or one of these, other than possibly Ron Paul, we are so totally totally fucked that it doesn&#8217;t bear imagining, and even if it is Paul we will be only totally fucked (not totally totally).</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Note:</span> For anyone who cares to know the truth, the whole truth or the real truth, the reality of Palestine/Israel is that the Palestine people who are imagined (Newt Gingrich) have lived and worked the land that is now Israel for time immemorial.</p>
<p>The State of Israel that according to Newt is real came into existence in 1948 or thereabouts after being a terrorist organization.</p>
<p>The people of Israel are predominately of European decent while the imagined Palestinians are indigenous to the region, kind  of like the Sioux and the Cherokee, and man did we give it to them.</p>
<p>Ron Paul speaks a version of truth that is alien to most Americans who have become comfortable with a corporate media version of reality, that in reality doesn&#8217;t exist and so therefore he is like a turkey on the eve of thanksgiving, giving thanks.</p>
<p>i.e. He like the rest of us is also fucked and doesn&#8217;t even have a snowballs chance in hell of getting elected, even though on most fronts he is our only hope, and because of this we (the people of America) in reality have no hope, we merely wait like a body with cancer for a preordained ending, and it won&#8217;t be nice, trust me and if you don&#8217;t ask Marie Antoinette, if you can find her head, there will be blood on the streets.</p>
<p>I hereby implore my readers if there are any, to pardon my French (the FUCK word) but I really am pissed with where we are and how the &#8220;we&#8221; who control my/our life&#8217;s are choosing to lead us/me.</p>
<p>Aren&#8217;t you too, as well, also pissed, and if you are not then you should look into the mirror and see if it is really yourself that is looking back at you, there are rumors of alien invader body snatchers, no I am not talking about Rick and Michelle, give the aliens a break for god&#8217;s sake!!</p>

<p>Here&#8217;s a simple idea!!! Lets tax every single person at the same tax rate and then lets have totally no deductions or exemptions. If the tax rate is 10% and you make $100 you pay $10 imagine how simple your tax return would be.</p>
<p>Then lets have no, yes I said no, ZERO corporate tax, let business keep its money and do what it wants with it, hopefully reinvest it. But when the business pays its profits out to its shareholders or bondholders they pay tax at the base level without exemption or deduction.</p>
<p>Also if a Corporation is a US corporation then only the profits that it reports as US profits apply to the US tax code and any benefits that apply to that status. Payouts from non US reported earnings should be hammered as should any attempt to manipulate the system.</p>
<p>All lobbyists should be treated like the Occupy Boston Movement and evicted and given 7 days to leave  the country or face death by beheading in some public square in Saudi Arabia (nice one).</p>
<p>To finish, I, me and myself am/are totally against any and every form of regulation. Did I say totally against every form of regulation, including those that benefit the rich. The poor are already so totally regulated, I mean isn&#8217;t that the reason they are so fucking poor.!.!</p>

<p>The Dow Jones Index is not the economy nor is it a measure of the economy. so while the Dow gyrates up and down by a few hundred points in a session the economy stays flat because it is flat period, no double dip here just a severe dip that we are still experiencing.</p>
<p>The Dow Jones Index is an average of the stock price of 30 very large mostly blue chip corporations.</p>
<p>Mostly these companies are in great shape so therefore the Dow should be doing really good however there in very little rationality in fear and when most of the nation is one pay check from pennyless fear is pervasive.</p>
<p>I would advise anyone who has money to buy the stock of good company while fear has artifically deflated it, keep in mind that I own no stock and have no knowledge of the markets other than watching Squawk Box on cnbc.</p>
<p>However I do have a lot of experience in having no money and I have found that it can be a bummer, so do your very best to always have access to tons of folding money.</p>
<p>Imagine being stupid enough to pay $1800 for an ounce of gold, of course if you are buying at $1800 to sell it to someone even more stupid for a profit I guess that makes youa trader.</p>
<p>The moral of the story is that the markets are for wolves and most every9one is a sheep.</p>
<p>So if you fit into the sheep category remember that the market is a casino where you risk money you don&#8217;t need. On the other hand you live in a real world were people breath and eat and interact, it is called an economy.</p>

<p>I used to be a christian, I know a lot about the bible, I know a lot about Jesus and to be totally honest I have never come across a word attributed to him that I did not totally and completely agree with.</p>
<p>The reality of my lost religion is that my argument is not with Jesus but with so called Christians and Christianity.</p>
<p>It appears that those who claim to act in Jesus&#8217;s name and follow in his footsteps are really disciples of the &#8220;eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth&#8221; Old Testament.</p>
<p>Do unto others as you would have them do unto you makes it apparent that successive Governs of Texas have a death wish for themselves not to mention half the Jurors of the Supreme Court of the United States of America, a country which I have the curious pride to call home.</p>
<p>Love God and love thy neighbour as thyself according to the will of God, neighbour in this context is not the person who lives next door but your fellow man/woman.</p>
<p>It is really funny/amazing that the love that emanates from human people runs directly inversely proportionate to their self professed christian ideals.</p>
<p>You only have to look to the Christian Right who are intent on wrecking any semblance of social assistance in our country to realize that Christianity is so much more about judgement and sanction than love, and to think Jesus preached love, it was his core message, his only ideal.</p>
<p>Not alone are they ready willing and able to sentence you to everlasting hell-fire for minor digressions but here in the land of the living they are hell bent on making sure that you live up to their ideals/opinions/beliefs, which coincidentally are totally non-Christian.</p>
<p>I too am human, I am a man, who found myself here, wide awake and middle aged through no fault or desire of my own. I did not petition or ask God to make me who or what I appear to be. I who am labeled a creature of choice am choice-less in what I am.</p>
<p>God has a lot to answer for and I for one am looking forward to his excuse/explanation when we finally come face to face.</p>
<p>Or  perhaps, just perhaps, Jesus is right and all the Christians are wrong and love is all that matters and George Bush and Governor Perry and the Tea Party and the Justices of the Supreme court have lost the plot and a very angry Jesus who is really mad and can&#8217;t take anymore horrors perpetrated by would be followers in his name will have some awkward questions for  them on judgement day.</p>
<p>Let he who has not sinned throw the first stone.</p>
<p>So unless you are blemish free just shut the fuck up and let the rest of us get on with living out our lives as best we can in freedom, free from judgement, free from being required to measure up to your opinions.</p>

You do know that most talk shows and all reality shows are scripted to meet the expectations of their audience, how else do you think they could sell advertising.</p>
<p>Anyway on the Squawk this morning they where going on and on about entitlements and how the economy is in tatters because of the gimme crowd which I believe they believe are the demographic of the Democrats.</p>
<p>There is however as in skinning cats more than one way to look at entitlements. There is the expectation of a person who worked and paid into the system all their life that there would be something in the kitty to pay their living and medical expenses in their old age.</p>
<p>There is also the expectation that because we live in a democratic capitalism there is the entitlement to make some money.</p>
<p>And I do wonder which entitlements the entitlement basher&#8217;s are referring to.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s like an old fashioned boxing match with the &#8220;gimme crowd&#8221; in the blue corned and the &#8220;I&#8217;m taking it anyway crowd&#8221; in the red corner, and the economy in the middle fighting for it&#8217;s life.</p>
<p>A noted economist proclaimed that Wall St is not the economy and the economy is not Wall St, and what the Wall St crowd don&#8217;t seem to get is that for one person to be absurdly wealthy, many people must be absurdly poor.</p>
<p>And to be honest I don&#8217;t have an issue with wealth or poverty, my issue and my whole reason for writing is perception.</p>
<p>If people are aware of a condition but purposely mislead in an attempt to manipulate their prey that is fine, good, OK even, but when people swallow the manipulated mistruth hook line and sinker merely because they are too lazy to think, then I am mad as hell and I really don&#8217;t want to take it anymore!</p>
<p>The reality is that although most people possess average intelligence they are totally and completely stupid.</p>
<p>There was a time when money meant a great deal to me and it&#8217;s pursuit was paramount, now that I am ancient I have come to realize that money is only good for paying bills and buying stuff. It doesn&#8217;t and can never fill the vast parched void within or soothe the howling demon who demands  face to face talks with you, you know the one you have been avoiding all these years.</p>
<p>Self medicating and denial will only get you so far, eventually usually at 2 am you will be forced to acknowledge him/her and it may not be a pretty sight. You have after all been such a dick wad for so, so long.</p>
<p>I read in a book last night that if you are not enough before you make a million then you will not be enough after.</p>
<p>What most economist, Tea partiers, conservatives, and Wall St types don&#8217;t seem to get, is that the economy is all the people, and just like a human body if one part is unwell then the whole is unwell.</p>
<p>And it beats me how they expect the economy to grow when 75% of it is struggling to just keep its proverbial head above water.</p>
<p>So you work for 8 bucks and hour, pay your rent and utilities and even manage to buy some processed food and then you are expected to fuel the engine that pushes the economy.</p>
<p>Is it rocket science or are most economist stupid or is it all really about rhetoric spewed in hope of quelling the sleeping bear.</p>
<p>So for all the would be financial geniuses out there let me lay it out in plain American English.</p>
<p>The economy in the US is screwed because the vast majority of the people who make up the economy can&#8217;t afford to live in it, and to be honest the US Government can&#8217;t afford to live in it.</p>
<p>Economics is really simple, someone has something to sell and someone wants to buy it. If there is a lot of people wanting to buy prices rise, if no one wants to buy prices fall until a buyer emerges or the seller decides not to sell.</p>
<p>To buy an item you need to have access to the price of the item. America is broke and can&#8217;t afford to buy.</p>
<p>The government can raise the limit on its credit card and keep on spending but the broken middle classes are limited to their debt ceiling, their only option is to try and stay afloat until the unbalanced economy rights itself.</p>
<p>A double dip hints at a revival and re-slump. The revival was hype by Wall Street to suck in some money from  the unwary. This recession is in it&#8217;s 5th year with no sign of abatement and our commander in chief is lost, not unlike Nero fiddling while Rome burned.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t have a Republican bone in my body but I have come to a place where I am willing to put up with 4 years of a Republican White House to get rid of Obama, really he was not up for the job and to be truthful we have now had a De facto 3 term Republican Presidency.</p>
<p>Electing Obama was akin to selecting a surgeon fresh out of medical school to perform a once in a century surgery, he looked good and sounded good but had no experience and in reality knew nothing.</p>
<p>The post George Bush economy needed an exceptional politician with a titanium spine (I stole this from Michele Bachmann), not a one term Senator with charisma and a dream of Republican validation.</p>
<p>If we as a nation are not to become a vague memory a &#8220;didn&#8217;t you used to be someone&#8221; joke we need to realize that we are in a war zone and that we are all in this together, rich, poor, entitled by promise and entitled by creed.</p>
<p>Remember that the alpha beggar in all this,  is our Government, We the People, Us, what we are!</p>

No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”</em></p>
<p><em> </em></p>
<p>However in States where non judicial foreclosure is the modus operandi the only defense available to a person who is facing a foreclosure which they believe to be faulty or illegal is to file a court case against the foreclosing party and thereby become a plaintiff.</p>
<p>This creates an interesting situation where an actual defendant in a foreclosure filing becomes a plaintiff in a case filed to defend their interest.</p>
<p>Besides having to bear the cost of filing a court case and possibly hiring an attorney, the person defending against the foreclosure by becoming a plaintiff is burdened by the issue of Res Judicata and/or claim preclusion.</p>
<p>The common first move of defense against foreclosure is to ask the foreclosing party to produce the note to prove that they have the right to foreclose, however Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc commonly know as MERS has come up with the strategy of having their defense attorney file a motion for dismissal on grounds that no claim was made, a motion which in almost every case is judged in favor of the bank.</p>
<p>A case filed in civil court must present a claim on which damages can be awarded. A case which only asks for a note to be presented makes no such claim.</p>
<p>The real injustice comes in the reality that once a case against the lender is dismissed for “failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted” claim preclusion is activated.</p>
<p>From the perspective of the law/court system, a dismissal on a motion, regardless of evidence presented is regarded as a full and final decision of a case on its merits and any future filing against the lender or its privies which is any other party involved with the bank or Mers is subject to Res Judicata which basically means it is previously judged and is precluded from being heard again..</p>
<p>So the situation arises, that a person who is an actual defendant in a foreclosure action in a non judicial State is forced to become a plaintiff as the only means of defense available and by so doing opens him/her self to claim preclusion merely by asking the bank to prove that they are the actual note holder and are in fact legally in a position to foreclose, which in most cases they are not.</p>
<p>Therefore it could be strongly argued that by denying a person facing foreclosure a means of defense other than becoming a plaintiff in a law suite, the State allowing a non judicial foreclosure is actually denying the person being foreclosed their rights under the 14<sup>th</sup> Amendment of the Constitution to due process under law.</p>
<p>A defendant is not required to state a claim upon which relief can be granted, the defendant under the rules of discovery can ask the bank who is the plaintiff in the foreclosure action to produce any documentation relevant to the foreclosure without recourse.</p>
<p>A defendant is offered full and due process under law, whereas a plaintiff who in the eyes of the law is making the claim is not entitled to due process but must substantiate their claim in full and in accordance with the rules of the court.</p>
<p>It is far, far easier to defend against a foreclosure than it is to take a suit against a bank. Remember that most people are in foreclosure because they have no access to money, so in all probability they will not have access to top class legal professionals and in fact some will end up defending themselves as “pro se” defendants/plaintiffs. The banks on the other hand have more money than they know what to do with and hence access to the best the legal profession has to offer.</p>
<p>In most foreclosure defense cases the battle is so one sided that the bank wins with ease, even though the case against them is very real. It may sound absurd but every foreclosure involving Mers is actually illegal because neither the bank nor Mers are the actual Note holder, and a foreclosing party must hold both the Note and the Mortgage.</p>
<p>By denying a person in foreclosure the opportunity to face the bank in court as a defendant the Non  Judicial State is causing grievous harm to a person and is in all probability acting unconstitutionally.</p>
<p>In not honoring its Constitutional responsibilities to its citizens a State is opening itself up to the possibility of legal action on grounds that it denied a person their constitutional rights to due process guaranteed under the 14<sup>th</sup> Amendment of the Constitution of The United States.</p>

<p>This isn&#8217;t mere accident or coincidence, rather it is a glimpse into the true metal of men. The harsh reality is that politics attracts the worst kind of people, useless types who see quick money and easy lives making promises and doing underhand deals.</p>
<p>The morals required for success in politics are underhandedness, cheating, lying, greed and it appears infidelity.</p>
<p>However political office prides itself on qualities like righteousness, courage, service and selflessness.</p>
<p>The system that allows shallow types access to high office is at fault only because the people who power the system, the electorate are, (and there really is no other way to say this) grotesquely stupid beyond any hope of redemption.</p>
<p>If you are a person privileged with a vote and you are willing to cast that vote based on something you heard on TV especially a channel like Fox News which is &#8220;fair and balanced&#8221;, then you do not have the right to vote.</p>
<p>Remember that all the people have to suffer the consequences of your stupidity, including those who do not have voting privileges like children, those incarcerated, citizens of other sovereign countries,  and aliens both legal and illegal.</p>
<p>The reality of elections is that the people who are elected actually get 4 years in which there is no control over them, their actions and/or the damage they are doing to the country, its economy and its people.</p>
<p>Obama never had a right or the credentials to be president of America, he was elected because he is a really good orator and he is black and in all truth the black part is the biggest reason. Put simply if Obama had been white he would not be president and I personally think the country would be in a better position.</p>
<p>I do however understand the huge significance the election of an African American has to a people who have been so terribly wronged by the United States, but I am not talking civil rights here, rather I am talking politics and Obama was not and is not the right man for the job.</p>
<p>From the perspective of an uninvolved entity looking at the USA form outer space the Obama presidency has been merely Bush 3.</p>
<p>And the actual tragedy in this is that I do believe that Obama has all the right qualities and morals to be a leading politician, I believe that his heart is in the right place, he does however lack nuts, balls, kahunas, manhood, whatever.</p>
<p>For the first period of his presidency he owned all three pillars of government and wasted this precious resource looking for Republican support which he didn&#8217;t need, instead of pushing through the agenda for &#8220;change we could believe in&#8221; which got him elected in the first place.</p>
<p>There was and will be no change, the greatest democracy/republic in the history of the planet has been sold out for quick profits and the privilege of the few, right under the noses of 300 million Americans, who for reasons that can only be surmised as brain-deadness stood idly by and did nothing other than vote on dancing with the stars.</p>
<p>What this country needs more than anything in the upcoming election is a person who is willing to call a spade a spade, a person who is willing to get into the faces of the powerful  interest groups and scream NO! NO! NO!.</p>
<p>A president who is capable of understanding that he/she was elected by the people to do the peoples work, a president who is man/woman enough to stand in the face of money and power and do the right thing for the Country, The United States and its People.</p>
<p>A President who is willing to cherish the office and the constitution which allows it.</p>

<p>The only difference between a monarchy or dictatorship and a democracy, be it capitalism, socialism, or communism is that in a monarchy privilege is an entitlement handed out, whereas in a democracy privilege is there for the taking by whoever is most determined to have it.</p>
<p>So why is it that so few are vying for the title of king of capitalism, the simple answer to this very pertinent question is conditioning.</p>
<p>Conditioning is the the watering down or the natural tendency of the human animal to be a psychopath. In truth all creatures which must thrive  and survive on planet earth are psychopaths, there is no other form of existence, an animal is either a psychopath or it goes extinct.</p>
<p>However we as humans have found that it is possible by directing our psychopathic tendencies towards other creatures, to establish a thriving society where the words sociopath and psychopath are shunned and preserved for the most heinous of our kind (who in most cases are the most successful of our kind within the realm of society).</p>
<p>However the true nature of humans is to be psychopaths and to be a king you must be a wolf in sheep&#8217;s clothing type of psychopath, that is a say one thing and do another thing person or rather have the vast hordes of the conditioned believe what you are saying and not pay too much attention to what you are actually doing.</p>
<p>However the number one requirement for a kingship in capitalism is a good and sufficient supply of suitably conditioned morons (people who believe any old crap from the mouth of a superior, by superior I mean a parent a peer, a church a government, a television program, a radio program, a newspaper, twitter, facebook, a boss, a banker, a novel, a movie, someone on a reality show, etc).</p>
<p>The main rhetoric of conditioning is that we are all equal, God loves us all equally, the Constitution grants us all equal protection, the State is there to ensure that the Constitution is observed, and if you believe this crap you are doomed to a life of servitude, kissing the ass of your betters , the more privileged and their offspring, who for the best part did not swallow conditioning to the extent you did.</p>
<p>Take Justice for instance, most people who have never been in a court room think that justice is blind to everything but truth. This statement would be true if money were truth, for in truth the Court system is blind to everything but money.</p>
<p>Access to Justice is directly proportional to access to money, this statement is beyond reproach and is the most true thing you will read in relation to Justice as it pertains to the Courts.</p>
<p>Someone once said if you want justice don&#8217;t go looking for it in a court of law.</p>
<p>Then there&#8217;s education and you only have to mention that George Bush graduated from Yale which prides itself on being an Ivy League institution to know that equality in education is a laugh till your belly hurts joke.</p>
<p>The cynical reader might be inclined to draw the conclusion that I am a dyed in the wool commie, but nothing could be further form the truth. I love money, I love capitalism, I love the criminal justice system, I love everything about this United States.</p>
<p>My problem is with conditioning and the ability of the proletariat to believe absolutely anything and everything regardless of truth.</p>
<p>The tea party wants less government, except that it wants to increase the army and homeland security and the police and increase the war on crime and illegal immigration and give me a break, can you believe what these people are saying and the contradictions they are apparently believing.</p>
<p>My only advice to the average American experiencing sleep deprivation due to the American Dream turned nightmare is to take a pragmatic approach and instead of deciding whether the glass is half full or half empty based on the rhetoric of your guru, try looking at the glass yourself and guesstimating the actual quantity of liquid it contains.</p>
<p>Little is as it appears or seems, George Bushes press officer once said and I quote him directly: &#8220;We speak reality into existence&#8221;, therefore most of what you are believing to be true is actually false and woven into existence to manipulate you into doing that which enables someone to become a king, a King of Capitalism.</p>
<p>But remember that these kingship&#8217;s are up for grabs and all that is keeping you from being a candidate is the rhetoric you are willing to accept as truth. Rhetoric that ensures you and your kind will feast on crumbs and live unhappily ever after!</p>

<p>So I&#8217;m driving home from dropping my son to school and wbur is doing a piece on al-Qaeda and when that piece finishes they start off on Bahrain and seeing as I&#8217;m sick of listening to Bruins talk on sports radio I turned the radio off and drove home listening to the engine.</p>
<p>I-am-sick-of-listening-to-anything-and-everything-MIDDLE EAST-PERIOD.</p>
<p>I mean why are we even over there anyway, all they have is oil and we get most of our oil from Canada and they never mention Canada on the radio unless it&#8217;s ice hockey related.</p>
<p>So I was thinking (I had to because you don&#8217;t) that other than Israel the only reason for our involvement in the sand infested middle east is corporate related.</p>
<p>The smell of money to a corporation is as irresistible as the smell of poop to fly, and because the only reason to become a senator or congressman is to get on the corporate payroll via its lobbyists and because there is major money in oil and because there is major oil in the middle east our corporate sector like a fly just can&#8217;t stay away and because we have to make sure that the rules on the ground in this oil rich place are favorable for our brave corporate raiders, we as a nation are deeply entrenched in its sands.</p>
<p>I sometimes wonder why can&#8217;t the corporations simply go to these countries and play by their rules instead of having us send in the cavalry to soften them up. It&#8217;s not like our brave corporate raiders are bringing their spoils of war back home to share in the form of taxes hell we even give them subsidies.</p>
<p>In truth it appears that the corporate system offers a very poor return to everyone in America other than their shareholders and the elected members of the house and senate, and while we are naming names let&#8217;s not forget the president. For the rest of us paying 4 bucks a gallon at the pump, well put simply we are getting screwed.</p>
<p>I have a really weird idea, how about we put America and Americans first, I mean real flesh and blood people and let the paper corporations take care of themselves. I know this is radical and your congressman would have to rearrange his/her budget, but wouldn&#8217;t it be fun to have your son/daughter working here at home rather than softening up Iraq for Chevron or Exxon.</p>
<p>Hasn&#8217;t Cheney and Halliburton made enough money yet, how much longer will we as a nation have to pay his stipend.</p>
<p>I envision a nice utopia where Americans work in America making stuff that Americans use and export.</p>
<p>I also envision a world where Arab countries rule themselves anyway they want without American noses stuck into their business. If they want civil war that is their prerogative, after all remember that we fought our own in the 1860&#8242;s.</p>
<p>We fought ww1 because I can&#8217;t remember, we fought ww2 because we had no nukes to take out Hitler, we fought Korea because of Hiroshima, we fought Vietnam because we didn&#8217;t nuke Korea and we couldn&#8217;t nuke Iraq because we had to protect the oil.</p>
<p>No the only statement with any truth in the above paragraph is the one relating to Iraq, because we are the Unite Corporations of America and we love oil</p>
<p>But seriously a time is coming and it is coming very soon when we will not be able to afford to act  globally as a nation. Look at every other country that calls itself a player, Great Britain, Germany, France, their involvement outside their own borders is minimal.</p>
<p>Our defense budget for 2010 was over $687 billion, our nearest competitor on this list was China at $114 billion, Russia spent $52 billion.</p>
<p>Can someone tell me why we need to spend 6 times more on defense than China and 13 times more than Russia.</p>
<p>Did you know that a B2 Stealth (Spirit) bomber costs us more than $2.1 billion, that&#8217;s for 1 (one) aircraft, we have at least 20 of these beasts.</p>
<p>I suppose very little is going to change in relation to our corporate culture or our overseas policy, but is there any hope that WBUR can at least give equal air time to the state of our economy.</p>
<p>While the corporations love to gather money, me personally, I love to hear people talk about it.</p>
