Is Atheism a Religion?

The basic argument behind atheism is that there is not a single shred of evidence that a God exists, and that religion and God acceptance is nothing more than personal perspective, opinion or belief. It is worth noting that perspective, opinion and belief are merely different way of saying the same thing.

It is also worth noting that there is not a single shred of evidence that a God does not exist which puts atheism into the same category as religion, which is belief, perspective and opinion.

The only exact science when it comes to God or no God is that we haven’t got a clue. Which although appearing very inexact, is actually so to the point, that it is almost enlightening.

I don’t know do you is the mantra, which explodes the myths of perspective, opinion and belief, which incidentally when perused to their limits almost always turn out to be false.

And while we are on the “it is worth noting” trail: It is worth noting that another word for falsehood is lie.

So does the opinion that a God exists and a willingness to believe in a particular brand of God or religion actually translate to believing in a lie.

Likewise are the atheists who lay their bet on a no God bet also staking their truth on a lie?

Me personally I fall into the “I don’t know do you slot”.
